Sea/air waybills must include key information such as the place of departure, destination, means of transport, and quantity of goods
Four copies are required, along with an export declaration stating "Products are manufactured in the exporting country." Manufacturer's name must be included if required.
Requires certification by the Chamber of Commerce and Consulate.
Contains declaration of origin and manufacturer's description, requiring consular certification
04. Other Documents Special Goods: Health Certificate (food), Proof of Value, Identity Document, Insurance Special Permits: Pharmaceuticals, tobacco, automobiles, etc. require additional permits.
05. Religious Taboos
Pornographic materials, pork products, alcoholic beverages, and other items that violate Islamic teachings are prohibited.

10. Registration and Declaration Shippers must complete customs registration by submitting documents online using the electronic system "Bayan." 11. Cargo Inspection Customs will conduct random inspections of cargo for consistency with declarations (intensity of inspections varies depending on cargo). 12. Approval and Release After all documents, taxes, and inspections are approved, customs will issue clearance documents and deliver them to the consignee.

Electronic products and medical devices must comply with local certification standards; Jewelry products are subject to import restrictions.
Value and Taxes (Oman Imports)
Value declarations must be true and accurate, and customs will calculate taxes accordingly. Without a valid invoice or manufacturer's certificate, a customs clearance fee of 20 riyals (≈ US$52) will be charged (refundable upon submission of additional documentation within 90 days).
